STEP 1

  • Find the “SIGN IN” text circled in yellow.
  • Click on the “SIGN IN” text.

*** NOTE *** Google may skip the page pictured in this first step and take you right to the “Sign In” page. If so please advance to step two and begin there.

 

STEP 2

  • Find the “text input field” circled in yellow.
  • Type your Extras Alerts Gmail address.
  • Click on “NEXT” button circled in green.

 

STEP 3

  • Find the “text input field” circled in yellow.
  • Type your Gmail password.
  • Click on “NEXT” button circled in green.

 

STEP 4

  • Find “gear” icon circled in yellow.
  • Click on “gear” icon.

 

STEP 5

  • Find “settings” text circled in yellow.
  • Click on “settings” text.

 

STEP 6

  • Find “Filters and Blocked Addresses” text circled in yellow.
  • Click on “Filters and Blocked Addresses” text.

 

STEP 7

  • Find “Import Filters” text circled in yellow.
  • Click on “Import Filters” text.

 

STEP 8

  • Find “Choose File” button circled in yellow.
  • Click on “Choose File” button.

 

STEP 9

  • Find “downloads” circled in yellow.
  • Click on “downloads”.

*** NOTE *** If you are already in “downloads” please advance to step ten and continue there.

 

STEP 10

  • Find the “Extras Alerts Gmail Filter” to apply to your Gmail. Example (sample file) highlighted in blue.
  • Click on “Extras Alert Gmail Filter“.
  • Click on “Open” button circled in green.

 

STEP 11

  • Find “Open file” button circled in yellow.
  • Click on “Open file” button.

 

STEP 12

  • Find the “Create filters” button circled in yellow.
  • Click on “Create filters” button.

 

STEP 13

Your “Extras Alerts Gmail Filter” should now appear. Example (sample filter) circled in yellow.

*** NOTE *** You may need to click your web browser’s (reload / refresh) button if you do not yet see your new filter.
